In a recent announcement, Elon Musk revealed his plans for his latest company, xAI, and its goal to build an alternative to the popular AI language model, ChatGPT. As the mastermind behind companies such as SpaceX and Tesla, Musk's latest venture has caught the attention of the tech industry. In this blog post, we'll explore what xAI is all about and what it could mean for the future of artificial intelligence.

Elon Musk announces a new AI company

Elon Musk would appear to be seeking some rivalry of his own this week. 

Not even a week after Mark Zuckerberg launches the Twitter alternative "Threads App" does Elon Musk announce that he's going to also be launching a rivalry company of his own. 

The timing couldn't be better for Musk as his name is already trending online and memes are all over social platforms. 

So, what is this new xAI company? 

Well.. 

We don't know much so far, but here's what we do know 👇 

The new company will be working closely with Twitter, Tesla and other companies to to make progress towards their mission. 

The goal of xAI is to understand the "true nature of the universe". 

According to one article, Musk was originally on board with ChatGPT and than began critisizing the company for inputting safeguards to prevent the chatbot from talking sexually, biased or negatively. 

I'm not sure this is a bad thing and was probably done for a good reason. 

Either way, Elon Musk is on a mission to make his xAI stand out. 

He's basically planning to have "TruthGPT" as he mentioned in an interview back in April. 

Not a whole lot of details are revealed yet. 

But this is what has been said so far.
