If you’ve been using TikTok for marketing, you may have missed some of the latest updates that could help improve your performance on the platform.

Here are some of the recent changes that TikTok has made that you should be aware of:

#1: TikTok Tools

TikTok has added a few tools to their Creative Center that can help marketers create better video ads.

One of these tools is an AI-powered scripting tool that generates three unique scripts based on your inputs.

It provides cues for when to appear on camera, offers details for accompanying on-screen images and text overlays, and gives a call to action.

Additionally, they’ve launched an Agency Business Center Hub that assists businesses with creating and managing their campaigns.

#2: TikTok Brand-Creator Partnerships

TikTok is making it easier to connect brands with influencers.

They’ve introduced a new in-app TikTok Creative Challenge that allows brands to work with creators on the platform.

They’ve also rolled out Open Applications ads, which work more like a job posting process.

Brands can upload campaign details and use filters to narrow down who applies.

#3: TikTok Ads

TikTok is making changes to ad targeting for teenagers in certain regions.

In the United States, users between 13-15 years old won't see personalized ads based on off-TikTok behaviors.

In the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the European Economic Area, users aged 13-17 will not see personalized ads based on their activities on or off the platform.

#4: TikTok Shopping

TikTok is testing visual search in select markets outside of the United States.

Users can upload a picture to the search field, and then see content results that match or are similar to the image they uploaded.

#5: TikTok Content Monetization

TikTok Series now lets marketers and creators put long-form content into collections behind a paywall for up to $189.

Additionally, creators can offer a new perk to their subscribers: subscriber-only videos.

In conclusion, TikTok continues to evolve its platform with new features and tools for marketers.

By staying up-to-date on the latest changes, you can optimize your marketing strategy and improve your performance on the platform.
